How We Review Adult Games

Research and transparency

We use official store descriptions, creator pages, archived operator terms and identified public sources, reviewed on 5 October 2026. This is source-based editorial work rather than a hands-on playtest. We separate product facts, player reception and editorial judgement of audience fit.

Score formula

Steam base = the positive percentage divided by 10. We calculate that percentage as total_positive / total_reviews × 100 and round it to a whole percent, matching the displayed reception. Add an editorial adjustment between −0.7 and +0.7, then round the final score to one decimal. We assess documented depth, platform access and purchase or DLC structure. Review counts provide context, not an extra score multiplier.

Games without Steam data

No public player data; base 6.5. This explicitly editorial starting point applies to games without a matching Steam listing and to Nutaku as a platform. It is not a player average. The same bounded adjustment applies, with a reason for every title below.

Dated evidence

Steam reception comes from appreviews query_summary records collected on 5 October 2026. We show the count, rounded approval percentage, date and Steam link separately from our Review rating. Steam data is never published as aggregateRating. DLC reference prices retain their individual source dates and are not live offers.

Rankings and commercial relationships

Category rankings and all three home Top picks lists follow descending editorial scores. Equal scores are ordered alphabetically. Best free-to-play includes games free to start, including free public builds; optional purchases may remain. Best overall includes paid stories. Lust Goddess appears in the carousel as Most searched based on the supplied search-demand research, not as the highest-rated game. Affiliate commissions never add points.

Corrections

Send a page URL and primary source to contact@lewdradar.com. Dates describe an editorial edition, not an automated daily retest. Scores and descriptions should be updated together when evidence changes.

Every score, explained

Eternum EX is a separate Steam platformer. Its 42 reviews are not evidence for Caribdis’s Eternum visual novel.
